What is Taormina City Tax?
Taormina City Tax must be paid by all guests, it is applicable for stays of up to a maximum of 5 consecutive nights, the rates indicated at the time of booking do not include the tax, which must be paid at check-out.
City tax is €5 per person per night, children 12 years and below are exempt. City tax levies are subject to change without notice.

Can I have an iron in the room?
Due to the Italian law on Old Historical Palaces, we cannot offer an iron in the room, however we offer a pressing service.
Does the hotel allow pets in the hotel?
We are delighted to accommodate small dogs weighing up to 8 kg, for which an additional charge of €20 per day will be applied to the quoted rate for sanitising the room.
Dogs must be kept on a leash outside the room. Animals are not allowed in meeting and event rooms, restaurants or bars. Guests will be held responsible for any damage caused by their animals to hotel property. Do I need to wear anything specific to visit churches?
Yes, appropriate clothing is suggested in places of religious worship, in the summer months take care to carry a shawl or scarf to possibly cover your shoulders as a sign of respect.
How can I get to the hotel from the airport?

Do you offer a private transfer service?
Yes, we offer private transfers with assistance to be booked 24 hours in advance. The rate varies depending on the number of persons and pieces of luggage. If the cancellation request is made within 48 hours of the scheduled time of service, no penalty will be charged, otherwise 100% of the quoted rate will be charged. Can I pay for my stay in cash?
Yes, furthermore note that Italian anti-money laundering legislation as of 01/01/22 has established a limit on cash payments totalling € 4,999.99 or less (Italian citizens) € 15,000.00 (foreign citizens). It is also prohibited with several payments below the threshold that appear artificially fractionated (L.D. 21/11/07 no. 231, art. 49).
Would you change a €200 or €500 banknote for change?
Yes we may offer you change for these banknotes, subject to cash availability at the time of the request.
Can I pay for my stay in my own currency?
You can only pay for your stay in Euro.
Can I change my foreign currency at the hotel?
The only foreign currency that can be changed at the hotel is the US dollar, subject to cash availability at the time of request.
